Mary Leddy, Vice Chairman, COO

Mary is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for both Leddy Group and Work Opportunities Unlimited, Inc. where her primary objective is to establish the strategic direction for the two divisions.

She began her career in the Work Opportunities Unlimited division, assuming responsibility for Direct Service in 1990, and advancing to Director of the Portsmouth, NH office in 1991.

Mary assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 1992, and continued in that role until 1995. At that time she was promoted to Vice President of Operations for Leddy Group. In 2000, Mary became Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer (COO).

She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from New Hampshire College.

Mary was recently named to Business NH Magazine’s Top Women-Led Companies list.

Patty McGrail, Senior Vice President

Patty began her career with Leddy Group in May 1994 as a Staffing Coordinator for the Manchester, NH office. Once the new team was in place, the office quickly grew and began serving Front Office in addition to Light Industrial clients. In April 1997, she was promoted to Branch Manager and relocated the office to Bedford, NH. Soon after, Patty was promoted to Vice President and became responsible for additional markets.

Patty was promoted to Senior Vice President in June 2007, and is responsible for overseeing the division with offices in NH, ME and VT.

Prior to joining the Leddy Group, Patty spent nine years on the West Coast studying and working as a manager for a large customer service department at a warehouse and distribution company.

Patty is an active member of a number of the Southern NH Chamber of Commerce organizations. She also volunteers at a number of community events.

Becky Fecteau, Regional Vice President

Becky is a Regional Vice President for Leddy Group’s Seacoast, NH office, where she manages operations across the Seacoast market, including Hampton, Portsmouth, Exeter, Dover, Rochester, Somersworth, Amesbury, MA, and Sanford, ME.

Becky is responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Becky started as a part-time recruiter for Work Opportunities Unlimited in 2008. She was hired full time to work for both Leddy Group and Work Opportunities Unlimited in 2010 and became a full time Leddy Group employee in 2011.

Prior to joining the Work Opportunities/Leddy Group team, Becky worked for a Fortune 500 company, Paychex, for over 10 years in various Operations roles, including Senior Payroll Specialist and Operations Team Manager. Her responsibilities included: payroll, taxes, benefits, human resource consulting services and employee relations.

Becky is a Rochester, NH native who spent 15 years living in St. Louis, MO before returning to New Hampshire in 2005. She attended Florissant Valley Community College and Maryville University in St. Louis, and she continues to take online courses in areas that interest her. She is involved with her local community and enjoys business networking.

Juliann Hamblin, Regional Vice President

Juliann joined Leddy Group as Regional Vice President in June, 2014. Her primary responsibilities include managing and assisting the daily operations in Lebanon, NH and Rutland, VT. Additionally, she helps build long lasting working relationships with businesses in the communities Leddy Group serves.

Her favorite part of her job is meeting with candidates and companies and helping both with their staffing needs. She loves meeting new people, learning about the various local businesses, helping candidates find employment, and making a difference in people’s lives.

Prior to joining Leddy Group, Juliann worked as the HR Manager at The Quechee Club, Vermont’s premier four seasons club/ landowner’s association. Before that, she started her career as in intern for Target Corporation, where she was quickly promoted to Operations Manager and then progressed to an HR Manager position within the company.

She graduated from Keene State College with a Business Management degree. While at Keene State, she was also involved in Student Government, the Women’s Rugby Club, and the Ski/Snowboard Club.

Originally from Cornish, NH, Juliann now lives in Brownsville, VT. She’s a member of the River Valley HR Association, where she’s served on the programs committee and received her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.

She has volunteered for Relay for Life, an overnight relay event to raise money for The American Cancer Society, and every year, she rides her bike in The Prouty 100 miles to fundraise for the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth Hitchcock.

In her free time, Juliann is an avid snowboarder, and also enjoys mountain biking, hiking and camping with family and friends.

Kristen Gauthier, Regional Vice President

Kristen is a Regional Vice President in the Bedford office. In this role, Kristen is responsible for managing and assisting in the daily operations of Leddy Group’s Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts markets. In addition, she is responsible for establishing and developing relationships within the community and with local businesses.

Connecting with clients and candidates is extremely rewarding to Kristen. She enjoys helping clients identify and better understand their staffing needs and providing them with customized solutions, and loves helping candidates realize and work towards their short- and long-term career goals. Prior to joining Leddy Group, Kristen worked in a variety of management and customer service positions where she honed her recruiting and training skills, improved efficiency and accuracy in the workplace, and used her leadership abilities to support staff and company goals.

Kristen is currently working towards her Bachelor’s degree at Southern New Hampshire University, where she is majoring in business administration and minoring in marketing. She enjoys being outdoors and coaching youth soccer in Manchester in her free time, but her passion is working with animal rescues, where she fosters, rehabilitates, and helps place animals, especially dogs, in their forever homes.

Sue Sheehan, Business Development Representative

Sue is an Inside Sales Rep with Leddy Group. Her primary responsibilities include developing and delivering long-term staffing solutions for the organization’s valued business partners. Sue assists a variety of clients with their staffing needs, finding qualified, talented candidates to fill their open positions. She also helps job seekers find appropriate opportunities that leverage their skills, experience and capabilities.

Sue takes great pride in providing outstanding, honest customer service and gets true satisfaction from successfully matching clients and candidates.

Sue has more than seven years’ worth of recruiting experience, as well as an extensive sales and customer service background. Throughout her career, she’s worked in a variety of industries – including education, government, medical and non-profit – gaining valuable knowledge and expertise from each opportunity.

She graduated from Keene State College with a BS in Management.

Sue volunteers for a number of children’s and educational causes, and sits on the Board of Directors for a youth football program in her community. When she isn’t working or volunteering, she spends her free time cheering on her children as they play various sports. She also enjoys gardening, golfing, hiking, and kayaking.

Laura Brunson, Resource Specialist

Laura is a Resource Specialist in Leddy Group’s Dover office. Her responsibilities include interacting with clients, interviewing and hiring candidates, placing candidates in appropriate positions, assigning work and encouraging great performance. She also handles administrative tasks and office operations.

Her favorite part of the job is interacting with different clients and finding qualified and talented candidates to fit their needs. She finds it rewarding to help both parties – clients and candidates – and to provide exceptional customer service every step of the way.

Prior to joining Leddy Group’s team in May, 2013, Laura worked at Eastern Propane & Oil as a Promotion Supervisor for a company-sponsored concert series. In that role, Laura interacted with potential clients, generated sales leads and managed a variety of activities and promotions. She also worked as the Office Manager and Director of Marketing for Flat Rock Bridge Family Resort, a small privately-owned campground in Lebanon, ME, where she managed payroll, scheduling and sales, designed marketing materials, planned events and handled a variety of office functions.

Laura graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2012 with a B.S in Marketing. She is from Rochester NH, and now lives in Dover, NH. A talented musician, she has played the piano for 15 years. Laura also enjoys writing music and reading.

Lisa Byrd, Resource Specialist

Lisa is a Resource Specialist at Leddy Group, working out of the organization’s Bedford, NH office. Her primary responsibilities include interviewing candidates and managing administrative projects. She has been with Leddy Group since 2012.

Her favorite part of her job is helping candidates find work – something she finds very rewarding. She also enjoys working with so many interesting people and managing different projects each day.

Prior to joining Leddy Group, she worked for a Direct TV Marketing Agency, serving as an Administrative Assistant and also supporting the organization’s Human Resources needs.

She attended the University of New Hampshire, where she majored in English with a minor in Business Administration. While at UNH, she worked in the college’s IT department, helping students and faculty troubleshoot their computer issues.

Originally from Nashua, NH, Lisa now lives in Manchester, NH. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling and mini-golf.

Kelly Hinch, Resource Specialist

Kelly is a Resource Specialist in Leddy Group’s Bedford office. In this role, Kelly is responsible for interviewing and acquiring talented candidates, job placement, administrative tasks, and marketing. A recent college graduate, Kelly obtained valuable HR experience while interning in the Town of Merrimack’s Human Resources department. In her previous position, Kelly was responsible for assisting the HR director, interviewing job candidates, updating files and handling other administrative tasks.

A graduate of the University of New Hampshire – Manchester, Kelly resides in Merrimack, NH. She’s a member of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management), a volunteer for the Merrimack Youth Association and an assistant coach for the Merrimack Cardinals Cheerleading Squad.

Mark Thompson, Resource Specialist

Mark is a Resource Specialist in Leddy Group’s Portland and Saco, ME and Dover, NH offices. He started at Leddy Group in 2014.

In this position, he is responsible for interviewing candidates, conducting orientations, pre-screening applicants and conducting quality control with the clients and candidates to ensure both parties are happy. Mark enjoys the fast-paced, diverse days at Leddy Group. He takes pride in helping fill people’s needs, whether it’s finding suitable candidates to fill a job, or finding an ideal job for someone looking for work.

Prior to joining Leddy Group, Mark worked in the food service industry at Poor People’s Pub, as well as screen printing for Bleak Clothing.

Mark studied business administration at New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord, NH.
When Mark isn’t working, he enjoys playing drums, snowboarding, screen printing clothing, and spending time with friends and family.

Rebecca Laurion, Resource Specialist

Rebecca is a Resource Specialist for Leddy Group’s Dover office. Her primary responsibilities include working with both candidates and client companies to create successful job placements. In addition, she is responsible for recruiting and performs candidate interviews and orientations.

While Rebecca takes great pleasure in meeting new people and the variety each new day brings, the aspects of her job she enjoys most include connecting candidates with their next job opportunities and working with clients to fill their needs.

Prior to working at Leddy Group, Rebecca worked in the Registration Department of Frisbie Memorial Hospital and as the onsite administrator of Granite State Express Care. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Vermont.

Rebecca has called New Hampshire home her whole life. When she isn’t working, Rebecca can be found with her nose in a book, visiting the ocean or forests, dancing, and taking workshops and classes around the Seacoast.

Dawn Mackay, Resource Specialist

Dawn Mackay is a Resource Specialist with Leddy Group in the Rutland, VT office. She is responsible for interviewing and acquiring talented candidates, job placement, administrative tasks, marketing, and client development.

While she enjoys the diverse nature of her responsibilities, Dawn feels the best part of her job is helping both candidates and clients find the perfect match for their needs.

Prior to joining Leddy Group, she spent 15 years with Applebee’s Grill & Bar. She began her career as a server/bartender and was promoted to manager, a position she held for the last ten years with the company. She attended Castleton State College (now Castleton University) where she majored in psychology with a concentration in forensics and a minor in statistics.

With the exception of living in Roanoke, VA for a year, Dawn has called Vermont “home” her entire life. She appreciates VT in all seasons, but especially enjoys hiking, kayaking, and biking in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter. Dawn also takes the opportunity to travel whenever she can, especially if her travels take her past a small craft brewery along the way.
