Peggy started with us in 2006 as a part-time HR/Payroll Assistant and then became an HR Generalist.   Pre-LG, Peggy worked over a decade in H.R. in a variety of industries. She is an alum from Bryant College in Smithfield, RI (Bachelor’s) and the University of Maine – Orono (MBA).

Interesting fact - I’ve lived in six different states (ME, NH, MA, NJ, NY, IL).

Favorite indulgence, past time, hobby … Traveling and visiting with my kids who are in college – one in St. Louis, MO and the other in Boulder, CO.

Laura started with us in 2013 as a Resource Specialist (Staffing Manager) and then transitioned into marketing. Pre-LG, she worked 3 years in marketing promotion and 7 years combined in customer service and office management. Laura is an alum of Pensacola Christian College (B.S. in Marketing).

Interesting fact - My old soul has a love for the roaring 20’s era where flappers and top hats ruled the world with class and sophistication - Everyone loves a speakeasy!  Love a broad range of music, from the swing of Jazz & classics of Broadway to the aggressive riffs of metal.  

Favorite indulgence, past time, hobby … Playing & teaching piano and fishing; could eat pickles for the rest of my life and have been to 5 different countries, so far! 

 Why Leddy?  I love that I go to work every day and know that our entire team is in the business of changing lives and impacting people in a really positive way. Jen started with us in 2015 as a member of the A/R department.  Pre-LG her career spanned retail banking, transitioning to Residential Mortgages, changing paths to Retail Management and then landing with us in the Accounting Dept. She’s an alum of UNH with a BA in Political Science.

Interesting fact  - I notice time passing as my 3 young boys grow, they are now 9, 11 and 12. Sometimes I just don’t feel like life is busy enough so the family has a Cattery hobby (breed purebred Ragdoll cats) as well as “farm”.  There are 20 plus chickens, numerous blueberry bushes, apple/pear trees and a veggie garden you could play soccer in!

Favorite indulgence, past time, hobby … With any ‘down’ time I like to play Candy Crush online, read a nice long novel (apocalyptic is my fave) or visit the ocean to listen to the surf; of course, I’d be eating anything chocolate to make the day complete!

Pre-LG, she worked for 5 years in a scientific training organization. Susannah is an alum of Iowa State University earning both her BBA and MBA.

Interesting fact - recently hiked R2R (rim to rim) in a day at the Grand Canyon.

Favorite indulgence, past time, hobby … outside – whether hiking, gardening, or with my dogs.

Why Leddy? The work we do is so impactful – we connect people to life-changing opportunities. I could do that work in many places, but I do it at Leddy because we are committed to working collaboratively, honestly, and ethically. I can’t imagine working anywhere else.

Becky joined the company in 2008 as a part-time WOU Recruiter, then joined Leddy Group on a part-time basis in March 2010 as a Resource Specialist. She served in a dual role until December 2011 when she transitioned to full time with Leddy Group and worked as Staffing Manager, covering the Dover and Portland, ME markets.  She was promoted to Regional Director of the NH Seacoast market in June 2013. Pre-LG, Becky worked in office management and spent 10 years at Paychex.

Interesting fact -  Met my husband while vacationing in Puerto Rico. Love to cook and eat Spanish food.  Spend most of my free time at baseball games watching my two sons play for UMass Lowell and Seacoast Pirates and have family members and friends who play in the MLB ...  so baseball is life in my house!

Favorite indulgence, past time, hobby … I love being on the beach because of the sun, sand, and people watching! You can find me at Old Orchard Beach in Maine or Playa Crashboat in Isabela, PR during any free time that I have! I LOVE to gamble and recently went to Las Vegas for the first time where I may have found my people!

After helping us hire MANY of our internal hires, Jessica transferred to Leddy Group in 2014 working in our general staffing offices then officially started our Leddy HR Staffing (previously known as Spectrum Consulting) in 2015. Pre-LG, Jessica worked for 10 years in HR, Recruiting & HR Management at Shaw’s Supermarkets.  Jessica is an alum of Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH ( BA in Elementary/Special Education).

Interesting fact – I am a marathon & ½ marathon runner and enjoy running races in the community. (something Jessica won’t share is that her internal nickname is J-la!)

Interesting fact -  I love animals.  We've always had pets growing up, everything from cats and dogs to horses and hedgehogs, and now as an adult, I spend an embarrassing amount of money donating to animal rescues.  If I won the lottery, I would spend it all on animal rescue and travel.  

Favorite indulgence, past time, hobby … I really like traveling and exploring.  While I want to see the whole world, Vermont is my FAVORITE place in the Summertime and it's far too short, so I love to spend as much time during the much too short Summer season exploring.

Why Leddy?  Once I learned more about who and what Leddy Group is - their Core values and goals, I realized I wanted to be a part of it.  It allows me to use and expand on all of the skills I've been gaining up until this point in my career and combines it with helping employees and employers connect.  I also enjoy that my job allows me to connect with my community and that Leddy Group encourages us to be an active part of our community.

Pre- LG, she worked 9 years at a national warehouse and distribution center as a Manager for their customer service department.

Interesting fact -  My husband, Tom and I just started taking cooking and dance classes.  I’ll be able to teach everyone how to salsa dance in no time... Haha – NOT!

Favorite indulgence, past time, hobby … enjoy snowmobiling, boating, motorcycle riding, kayaking, and snowshoeing but most of all enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Tim joined our IT team in 2017.  He is the “go-to person” for anything IT. Pre-LG Tim was a software trainer and application developer for many years. He’s an alum of St. Bonaventure University.

Interesting fact - I lived in the small village of Amachuma, Bolivia for 4 years with my wife and two small kids.  I tried to learn to speak Aymara and got acclimated to life at 13,500 feet above sea level.  Some kids taught me how to scare away dogs by pitching rocks at them with a traditional sling.  I never hit any – but I scared a few!  I haven’t practiced much lately but I might be the best sling user at LG!

Favorite indulgence, past time, hobby … I’m a voracious reader and always have at least two books going!  I’m a Lord of the Rings nerd and always available to answer questions about hobbits or the wandering of the elves in the elder days.  I love to cook and I’m obsessed with good pizza. I’m currently helping David Dwyer sample and rate all pizza parlors within one mile of every regional office!

Why Leddy? I couldn’t ask for a more collaborative and professional workplace.  No matter what Team you are on at Leddy, we are all motivated to support each other and to help each other overcome obstacles.  Even in stressful situations, people are focused, cool, and effective.

Lindsay started with us in 2017 as a placement auditor and then moved into the Staffing Manager role for LG Dover shortly thereafter.  As of June 2019, Lindsay transferred to the Concord office. Pre-LG, she worked as an adoption counselor for 6 years with New Hampshire Humane Society and prior to that worked in a school for 2 years as a para-educator. Lindsay is an alum of Wheaton College, Norton, MA with a degree in Education & Psychology.

Interesting fact  - recently picked up the banjo and started taking lessons.

Favorite indulgence, past time, hobby … Animals! Horses, dogs, paddle boarding with the dogs, hiking.

Why Leddy? Why not?! Just kidding!  The flexibility within the organization to move to different positions, different offices, the ability to try new things and to always let new ideas be known are what keeps me here.  Plus, the coworkers are pretty great!

Favorite indulgence, past time, hobby ... walking, beach, kayaking.

Why Leddy? You can do accounting in all industries but is it good to know that you are supporting team members that make positive changes in so many individual’s lives.

Alie started with us in 2016 as a Resource Specialist (Staffing Manager) in our HR specialty and then our general staffing market in Bedford.  She is now a Staffing Manager with Accounting/Finance & Executive Admin.  Pre-LG, Alie spent 9 years in higher education managing archaeological research projects, students, and employees and 3 years in residence life. She is an alum of James Madison University.

Interesting fact - I was an All-New England bassoonist in high school.

Favorite indulgence, past time, hobby … I love British murder mysteries.

Steve Wood is President and CEO of Work Opportunities Unlimited, Inc. He joined the company as Vice President of Planning and Chief Financial Officer in 1996 and was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer in 2000. Pre-LG Steve spent seventeen years in the banking industry in Maine and New Hampshire and five years growing his consulting practice in strategic planning, organizational change, and financial management. Steve was also an adjunct faculty member at SNHU for from 1994-2013.  Steve received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maine and received his MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.  

Interesting fact – I lived all over the U.S. as a child – my father was an Admiral in the Coast Guard.  As an Eagle Scout, I participated in President Nixon’s 1968 inauguration and…I have met every President except Jimmy Carter since meeting President Nixon.

Favorite past time … Small boat sailing; playing with my young granddaughter.

Marc relocated from the metro Detroit area to the New Hampshire seacoast to join the Leddy Group Engineering team in August of 2019. His experience includes financial, software and engineering recruiting.  Marc is an alum of U. Michigan (Go Blue!)  Sadly, as a Detroit Lions fan, Marc finds himself in the minority!

Interesting fact - 2 that are unrelated … I have a twin brother! I love to wear “funky” socks!

Favorite past time ... I like to be outdoors as often as possible and I am a numismatic! (coin collector)
