3rd Shift CNC Operator

Our client is looking to fill a 3rd shift CNC Operator position! Hours for this role in Lebanon, NH are Sunday through Thursday, 11pm-7:30am, ideal for someone who perhaps wants the days to themselves, has a daytime second job, or is sharing in caregiving duties. This opportunity requires strong teamwork and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the 3rd Shift CNC Operator

  • Set up and operate CNC machines as well as other ancillary equipment
  • Inspect components for conformance to specifications
  • Follow standard procedures in all aspects of work including machine setup and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation, material handling, etc.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks
  • Communicate machine issues to decrease machine downtime
  • Assist in training new associates
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing tools and techniques
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the CNC Operator

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic mathematical and mechanical skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic computer interface skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and acceptance criteria
