3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

A well-known manufacturer is seeking a skilled individual for their 3^rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic role in Somersworth, NH. Responsibilities of the 3^rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

• Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, and systems
• Construct, install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant and process equipment
• Coordinate and perform preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Consult with engineering staff for equipment and/or facility modifications and upgrades
• Follow ISO 14001 Environmental Management System guidelines, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies and procedures
• Document all maintenance and inventory control activities
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required

Qualifications of the 3^rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance or related environment
• Good mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical machine maintenance and repair
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, plumbing, and/or piping diagrams and drawings
• Ability to weld, solder, braze, cut, grind, fabricate, and machine using horizontal milling machine or similar equipment
• Proficient with mechanical measurement devices and troubleshooting tools
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and prioritization skills
• Good computer skills including PM/Work Order Tracking system(s)
• Experience with boiler maintenance, teardown and rebuild of mechanical components, and equipment rigging/heavy lifting

The Maintenance Mechanic works 3rd shift Sunday through Thursday from 11:00pm-7:00am. Pay is $31.30-$34.30/hour, depending on experience.
