Academic Coordinator

You’ll support designated faculty members’ teaching, research, classroom, and administrative needs to help ensure this reputable employer delivers a personal, connected, and transformative learning experience for its students.
Responsibilities of the Academic Coordinator

  • Prepare course materials and track student grades
  • Organize events for guest speakers and visitors
  • Manage faculty calendars
  • Respond to inquiries
  • Draft and proofread materials
  • Make travel arrangements and prepare expense reimbursements
  • Conduct research, update faculty website profiles and biographies, and maintain files
  • Work collaboratively to conceptualize, manage, and complete academic projects and assignments
  • Perform related tasks to assist the team as assigned

Qualifications of the Academic Coordinator

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in business or related field preferred
  • At least 1-2 years of administrative support experience
  • Prior experience successfully coordinating high-level administrative support, managing projects and events, and providing high-touch customer service in a professional office environment or similar institution
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of business school functions, operations, and activities
  • Ability to work well both collaboratively and independently and demonstrate a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness
