Job Description
Katy joined the seacoast market in 2022 after almost a decade as an assistant coach of women’s basketball for Carnegie Mellon, SNHU, and most recently, UNH. She earned a B.A. in Human Services & Rehabilitation Studies from Assumption College and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from SNHU.
Our client is seeking a networker who can build lasting customer relationships for their direct hire Account Manager role. You will be responsible for all aftermarket and sales activities for this global leader’s innovative equipment. Previous experience in manufacturing or technology is a plus!
Responsibilities of the Account Manager – Technical Sales
- Establish, maintain, and build relationships with customers
- Understand customer needs and translate them into possible solutions
- Prepare quotes and finalize agreements
- Generate sales growth within your region
- Work collaboratively with account and sales peers and colleagues from worldwide team
- Stay abreast of market development and identify/recommend opportunities
- Travel as needed (50%)
- Manage other tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications of the Account Manager – Technical Sales
- Self-driven and results-oriented with excellent customer service skills
- Higher vocational work and/or thinking level, e.g., in the direction of engineering or business administration
- Good communication skills in English required, Spanish is a plus
- Commercial knowledge and work experience in a machine manufacturing industry, installation technology, and/or after-market service is a plus
