Amber has been a member of the Leddy Group team since December of 2016 when Leddy Group acquired Staff Hunters of Portsmouth. From 2006 – 2016 she was the Branch Manager for Staff Hunters of Portsmouth. Prior to moving to the east coast, Amber worked for two large, national, staffing firms. Her 20 years of industry experience includes roles as Recruiter, Sr. Staffing Manager, Branch Manager, and now, Regional Director.

A mission-driven Dover, NH organization is looking to add an Accounting Assistant to their team! In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting team by performing a variety of accounting and administrative functions. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail who wants to grow their accounting knowledge.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant
- Review invoices against purchase orders
- Follow any invoice discrepancies through to completion
- Collect and file invoices, documentation, and checks
- Answer phone and assist or direct callers
- Review calculations on a regular basis to ensure accuracy
- Prepare account statements for clients
- Perform other related tasks and projects, as required
Qualifications of the Accounting Assistant
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of accounting experience
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, as well as working knowledge of accounting software
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to prioritize Strong customer service background
- Friendly and helpful personality
- Prior experience in an office environment
- Ability to multitask
