From 2006 – 2015 she was the Branch Manager for Staff Hunters of Portsmouth. Prior to moving to the east coast, Amber worked for two large, national, staffing firms. Her 20-plus years of industry experience includes roles as Recruiter, Sr. Staffing Manager, Branch Manager, and Regional Director

Accounting/HR Specialist
You’ll learn and grow in a friendly, collaborative environment with this Accounting/HR Specialist role! Our Seabrook, NH client needs someone to assist with a variety of tasks on a full-time, direct-hire basis.
Responsibilities of the Accounting/HR Specialist

  • Verify EFT information
  • Respond to payment inquiries
  • Reconcile cash
  • Prepare biweekly check runs and make bank deposits
  • Review payroll for accuracy
  • Scan documents, update spreadsheets, and prepare reports
  • Handle workers’ compensation claims
  • Serve as member of ESOP and safety committees
  • Ensure jobsite trailer posters are up-to-date for state and federal level  
  • Organize and update job descriptions
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications of the Accounting/HR Specialist

  • Broad understanding of Accounting and HR procedures
  • Degree in Accounting a plus
  • High attention to detail
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
