Accounting Specialist – Grant Reporting

A dynamic non-profit alternative lender in Raymond, NH is seeking an Accounting Specialist to help coordinate its many grant program requirements. Prior grant experience is desirable for this full-time role, but the company is willing to train the right candidate. This is a great opportunity to work for a friendly, caring organization that helps small businesses in the community!

Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist – Grant Reporting 

  • Assist the Accountant with grant reporting
  • Create and maintain schedule of grant program application dates, reporting dates, and grant agreement requirements
  • Prepare for audits and other various tasks
  • Create and send monthly and annual statements to clients
  • Post incoming ACH payments in QuickBooks online
  • Maintain amortization schedules
  • Manage the credit card program

Qualifications of the Accounting Specialist – Grant Reporting

  • Associate’s degree and/or 1-2 years of accounting experience
  • Prior grant experience or reporting skills are a plus
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to work well as part of a team

The Accounting Specialist works Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm on a mostly remote basis, with the flexibility to be onsite when needed. Salary is commensurate with experience, and the company offers excellent benefits. Apply today!
