Accounts Payable Specialist

Join a Portsmouth, NH manufacturer’s accounting team as a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist! Our client is seeking someone with at least three years of accounts payable experience, preferably in manufacturing, to be responsible for full-cycle accounts payable. This organization believes its employees should have a good work/life balance and there is some room for growth in this role.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist

• Review purchase orders against invoices
• Research and/or resolve discrepancies with invoices
• Post invoices
• Reconcile statements
• Maintain files
• Perform other tasks and projects, as required

Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably within manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Good analytical skills
