From 2006 – 2016 she was the Branch Manager for Staff Hunters of Portsmouth. Prior to moving to the east coast, Amber worked for two large, national, staffing firms. Her 20 years of industry experience includes roles as Recruiter, Sr. Staffing Manager, Branch Manager, and now, Regional Director.

A non-profit in Dover, NH is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist on an interim basis! This opportunity requires full-cycle accounts payable knowledge and basic to intermediate Excel skills. If you enjoy working in a busy and fast-paced environment while working for a mission-driven organization, this is for you!

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist

  • Review invoices, match to purchase orders, and code appropriately
  • Pay, if appropriate
  • Enter journal entries into accounting software
  • Update vendor information, where applicable
  • Other accounting tasks, as necessary

Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist

  • At least one year of recent related accounting experience
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills
  • Quick learner and self-starter
  • Team player
