Well established Concord area company is looking for a strong accounts payable specialist candidate.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone to flex their accounts payable muscle and be a critical part of a larger accounting team.

Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

  • Process all accounts payable for the facility
  • Maintain various financial reports relative to the Cost Accounting Department
  • Work with the Accounting Manager to assure a timely month-end close
  • Assist the Accounting Manager and Controller with projects as required

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be versatile and work independently
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel

Experience needed:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree required
  • Two years of related work experience and/or training
  • Experience in Peach Tree is a plus

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. Pay is DOE. This role is supplemental, but could be long-term for the right candidate.
