Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant
- Assist with fundraising activities
- Gather and process data using complex database programs
- Handle correspondence
- Assist with planning and communications for events and meetings
- Perform additional duties as assigned or required
Qualifications of the Administrative Assistant
- Associate’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4 years of office experience with a high degree of autonomy, preferably in an academic setting
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines amidst pressures and changing schedules
- Effective writing and proofreading skills
- Computer proficiency including MS Office, database management software
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
- Ability to work well both collaboratively and independently and demonstrate a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness
- Attention to detail
- Sound judgment and the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
