Our client is seeking an experienced individual to support their department chair as an Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant to the Chair

  • Provide administrative support to office of the department chair
  • Answer phones and filter requests
  • Manage chair’s calendar and schedule meetings
  • Assist with faculty affairs activities, ensuring compliance with established processes
  • Proofread and edit documents when needed
  • Perform related administrative support activities as assigned or required

Qualifications of the Administrative Assistant to the Chair

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Must have previous administrative support experience
  • Professional, resilient demeanor
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team-oriented and dependable
  • Knowledge of higher education is a plus
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Outlook

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Our client is open to potential flexibility for some remote work. This may lead to a permanent role for the right candidate, so apply today for this Administrative Assistant position!
