Responsibilities of the Administrative Support Specialist

  • Support office by performing operational, financial, and administrative tasks
  • Work collaboratively to coordinate programs
  • Manage logistical and administrative details of multiple projects as assigned
  • Other related duties as required

Qualifications of the Administrative Support Specialist

  • Associate’s degree, 3 years of general office or financial experience, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Familiarity with college accounting systems and procedures
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to handle pressures, deadlines, competing demands, and changes in schedules/priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in database management, spreadsheets, and other computer software
  • Ability to maintain and foster confidentiality
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to serving the needs of a diverse community

Hours for this Administrative Support Specialist position are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. This role works a hybrid schedule with some days on site and some remote. Pay depends on experience. We look forward to hearing from you!
