Assembler – 2nd Shift

The world’s leading manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems is looking for an Assembler to join their team on 2nd Shift. This position is responsible for setting up and operating production machines to assemble, test and pack all products to be shipped.

Responsibilities of Assemblers:

  • Work with production team to set-up and operate machines that assemble, test, and pack products.
  • Confirm machines are set up correctly to run the days work orders.
  • Confirm the correct packing is loaded into machines and regularly check labels for quality.
  • Resolve any production issues, consulting with a technician as needed.
  • Assemble products using basic hand and measuring tools, then test them for accuracy.
  • Complete work orders accurately to meet on time shipment and delivery to customers.

Qualifications for the Assembler positions:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years of industry-related experience in assembly/test in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using micrometers, verniers, calipers and gauges.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal instructions and basic math
  • Must have strong mechanical reasoning.
  • Able to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment.

Pay is between $14 -$15/hour, depending on experience. Second shift works Monday – Friday, from 3 PM – 11:30 PM.
