A well-established printing company is looking for an Assistant Account Manager to join the team. You’ll serve as a liaison between the company and its customers to ensure their magazines and journals are completed in a timely, efficient manner and meet customer expectations. This full-time role includes flexible, first-shift hours!

Responsibilities of the Assistant Account Manager

  • Assist the Account Manager to review, interpret, and distribute publisher-supplied materials to Manufacturing
  • Communicate customers’ specific requirements to appropriate personnel, and follow up to ensure fulfillment
  • Generate proofs, quotes, etc. for customers
  • Complete electronic job tickets with instructions for production and billing
  • Keep customers notified of publication progress
  • Serve as a technical/manufacturing resource for sales personnel, prospects, and clients
  • Participate in new title launch and/or other meetings as required
  • Assist other departments and perform additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Assistant Account Manager

  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • Strong office support and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Computer proficient
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
