Batchmaker

A growing manufacturer is seeking a Batchmaker to help produce their specialty adhesive products in Billerica, MA. Previous experience in chemical manufacturing is a plus but not required. If you would like to join the team at a fast-paced company, then don’t hesitate to apply!

Responsibilities of the Batchmaker

• Follow batch work instructions to manufacture quality products
• Add proper raw materials to mixing container
• Monitor and control mixing equipment and other instruments
• Adjust each batch under QC guidance until it is approved
• Follow manufacturing schedule, and work with Supervisor regarding any potential improvements or concerns
• Comply to all PPE standards
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized
• Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Batchmaker

• Chemical manufacturing experience is preferred
• Basic math skills and ability to read digital scales
• Ability to operate high-sped dispersers and other handling equipment
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to lift 50-60 lbs.
