Building Materials Production Specialist

A manufacturer of high-quality, sustainable building materials is now hiring a Building Materials Production Specialist! If you have production experience and want to join a great company where everyone has a hand in the quality of their products – this position in Rutland, VT is for you!

Hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm and will leave the rest of your day free. Overtime is available as needed, depending on production needs. Pay depends on experience, starting from $15.00 and up!

Responsibilities of the Building Materials Production Specialist:

• Work as a team to meet production goals
• Create custom building materials for clients
• Use company specific techniques to create specialty products
• Ensure finished items meet quality standards
• Assist in shipping and receiving
• Check equipment to ensure all are running smoothly and accurately
• Track and maintain essential inventory
• Assist in daily clean-up within the plant
• Complete change of production lines and equipment

Qualifications of the Building Materials Production Specialist:

• 6-12 months of previous production experience is preferred, but not required
• Willingness to learn and follow directions
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with “hands on” work environments
• Basic math and reading skills
