Civil/Structural Engineer

Our client is looking for a Civil/Structural Engineer to join the growing team at their Manchester, NH facility. You’ll perform calculations using structural design software, analyze aluminum extrusions and steel fasteners, and determine their structural capacity. Responsibilities of the Civil/Structural Engineer

• Provide technical support to ensure proper product selection, optimum bidding and design, and customer satisfaction
• Provide calculations and thermal performance data on products based on NFRC and ASHRAE guidelines
• Participate in product testing
• Use various structural engineering software programs
• Assemble formal structural calculations for projects
• Travel occasionally as required

Qualifications of the Civil/Structural Engineer

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Background in steel and aluminum design
• Licensed as a professional engineer (PE)
• Proficient in CAD and structural design software, e.g., RISA
• Experience with curtain wall, storefront, windows, composites, or sandwich panels a plus
• Strong verbal and written skills and experience communicating project requirements and providing guidance on design modifications to stakeholders
