CNC Machinist 2 – 1st Shift

Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist 2 – 1^st Shift

• Perform intermediate to complex machining and programming activities
• Provide advice or solutions in technical areas for less experienced machinists
• Modify existing programs to enhance efficiency
• Set up high-end jobs on 3 axis, 5 axis, and lathes
• Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Check parts to print and models using various inspection techniques
• Design basic fixtures for machining parts
• Assist with cleaning and preventative maintenance of machines, tools, and workstations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the CNC Machinist 2 – 1^st Shift

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CNC machining experience including 3 axis, 5 axis, and/or lathes
• Knowledge of WinMax and/or Mastercam software, G-code, SolidWorks, GD&T
• Skilled in shop mechanics, mathematics, and measurement
• Team player with strong communication and leadership skills
• Solid problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Hours are 1^st Shift Monday through Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm with overtime as necessary. Apply now for this CNC Machinist 2 position!
