CNC Machinist 3 – 1st Shift

Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist 3 – 1^st Shift

• Independently perform the highest level of complex machining and programming activities
• Set up high-end jobs on 3 axis, 5 axis, and lathes
• Provide training and/or solutions to less experienced machinists
• Design custom fixtures for machining various complexities of parts
• Check parts to print and models using various inspection techniques
• Apply concepts to machine parts more efficiently
• Assist with cleaning and preventative maintenance of machines, tools, and workstations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the CNC Machinist 3 – 1^st Shift

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Machine Tool, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience required
• Advanced knowledge of WinMax and/or Mastercam software, G-code, SolidWorks, GD&T, and complex fixturing techniques
• Highly skilled in shop mechanics, mathematics, and measurement
• Team player with strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Solid problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Hours are 1^st Shift Monday through Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm with overtime as necessary. Apply now for this CNC Machinist 3 position!
