CNC Setup Operator

A technologically advanced electronics company is looking for a second-shift CNC Setup Operator in Exeter, NH. This company’s products offer solutions for customers in the defense, aerospace, security, medical, and industrial markets. Responsibilities of the CNC Setup Operator

  • Machine product to meet weekly dispatch schedule priorities
  • Perform setups per setup sheet and process spec instructions
  • Proofread CNC program file
  • Edit G-code program file
  • Self-inspect machined product to blueprint
  • Perform preventative maintenance on CNC equipment
  • Manage time to keep up with schedule as well as accommodate any last-minute job requirements to meet customer needs
  • Maintain and control lean environment and workplace organization
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications of the CNC Setup Operator

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in a CNC machining environment, including setup
  • 2 years technical school or equivalent experience is a plus
  • Should be familiar with geometric tolerances
  • Background in trigonometry
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good manual dexterity
  • High attention to detail
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Positive, professional demeanor
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

The CNC Setup Operator works Monday through Friday, 3:00pm-12:30am, with every other Friday off! Pay depends on experience, ranging from $22-28/hour. Apply today!
