Her 20 years of industry experience includes roles as Recruiter, Sr. Staffing Manager, Branch Manager, and now, Regional Director.

Join a medical office in Portsmouth, NH as a Communications/Customer Service Specialist! Your day will be mostly spent on the phone, scheduling appointments and answering questions for patients. Our client is looking for someone with customer service and medical office experience for this full-time role!

Responsibilities of the Communications/Customer Service Specialist

  • Answer inbound calls, identify the needs of the caller, and assist, when possible
  • Schedule appointments for patients via phone
  • Take patients’ information over phone and accurately enter into database
  • Review insurance information with patients
  • Request medical records for patients
  • Perform other related duties and projects

Qualifications of the Communications/Customer Service Specialist

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Prior experience in a medical office
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Excel and Word skills
