Controller

We are partnering with a Rochester, NH manufacturer in their search for a full-time Controller! In this direct-hire role, you will be responsible for creating and interpreting financial reports to improve the company’s overall financial performance, among other duties. Responsibilities of the Controller

• Create financial statements and reports on a regular and ad hoc basis
• Review financial statements and identify areas of financial improvement
• Oversee credit aspects of the business
• Negotiate with vendors on supply pricing
• Work with external insurance vendors and tax preparers
• Create and implement accounting procedures and policies
• Perform other related tasks and projects

Qualifications of the Controller

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• At least five years of progressive accounting experience; manufacturing accounting experience highly preferred
• Highly proficient in QuickBooks and Excel
• Strong communication skills
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
