The Leddy Group is seeking an Controller / Office Manager for a company in the Haverhill, MA area.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-generational family business with staying power in the community. 

Responsibilities of the Controller / Office Manager:

  • Review and assist with the administration of incoming vendor invoices
  • Deal with vendor inquiries and payment requests.
  • Review and assist with customer billing
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Responsible for job costing
  • Handle monthly and annual reporting
  • Prepare 1099s
  • Maintain employee files
  • Process HR related requests
  • Administer benefits
  • Maintain stock of office supplies
  • Maintain vehicle related documentation
  • Supervise job administrator and payroll collections administrator

Qualifications of the Controller / Office Manager:

  • At least 5 years of HR, accounting, and office management experience
  • Strong MS office knowledge, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of Quickbooks
  • Must be extremely detailed orientated as well as a self-motivator
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
