Cost Accountant

Our Laconia, NH client is seeking a full-time Cost Accountant for their team! In this direct hire role, you will be responsible for collecting data and cost information to ensure data and invoicing accuracy, among other tasks. This role requires someone with at least three years of prior accounting or finance experience within manufacturing, as well as a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities of the Cost Accountant

• Review inventory and manufacturing variances
• Review customer quotes for pricing accuracy
• Implement changes to improve variances and pricing inaccuracies
• Analyze data on a regular basis
• Prepare and present findings
• Perform other tasks and projects, as required
• Assign invoices to projects

Qualifications of the Cost Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent
• At least three years of accounting or finance experience within manufacturing
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to analyze data
• Ability to present financials to management
