Cost Accountant

Our client is seeking a Cost Accountant to join the busy team at their Claremont, NH facility. The ideal candidate has high attention to detail and costing experience in a manufacturing environment. If that sounds like you, then don’t hesitate to apply for this full-time, first-shift opportunity!

Responsibilities of the Cost Accountant

• Analyze costs for 3 manufacturing plants
• Prepare journal entries
• Post sales and any cost of goods accruals
• Review costs of products and establish retail pricing
• Prepare and analyze project sales and cost of sales by project
• Assist plant managers with any inquiries
• Visit plants for work sessions/time studies as required
• Participate in annual physical inventory
• Perform other related tasks as assigned

Qualifications of the Cost Accountant

• 3 years of costing experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Able to handle multiple tasks and information
• Analytical
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent knowledge of MS Windows (Excel and Word required)
• Knowledge of SAP and Intacct preferred
