Major responsibilities of this role include:

  • Answers incoming calls and makes necessary follow up outbound calls to help resolve customer toll and billing issues.
  • Receives, processes, and deposits payments; updates accounts and video bills as to their status; and opens new accounts.
  • Takes credit card payments over the phone for accounts, video notices, and new accounts.
  • Writes, generates, and receives correspondence via fax, mail, and web contact.
  • Documents phone calls and actions in the database.
  • Troubleshoots situations accurately, quickly, and efficiently for customers on the phone.

Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative include:

  • High school diploma or GED Certificate is required.
  • Prior customer service or call center experience required.
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills (phone etiquette).
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, and highly organized.
  • Strong data entry and computer skills.

This position is being offered on a supplemental to direct basis. The hours of the position are full-time, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday – Saturday, 5 days per week on a rotating schedule. Rate of pay being offered is $13-$15 depending on experience.
