Job Description

Katy joined the seacoast market in 2022 after almost a decade as an assistant coach of women’s basketball for Carnegie Mellon, SNHU, and most recently, UNH. She earned a B.A. in Human Services & Rehabilitation Studies from Assumption College and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from SNHU.
We are seeking a motivated individual with contract negotiation experience to join a growing team as a Defense Contract Administrator! This is a full-time, direct-hire role with fantastic benefits at one of the premier employers in the Seacoast area. Our client would consider someone with a defense background OR someone in a paralegal role.
Responsibilities of the Defense Contracts Administrator
- Review, negotiate, and modify terms and conditions of contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and other agreements
- Ensure all contracts are structurally sound and appropriately valued
- Respond to questions regarding contracts
- Maintain contract and contractor files
- Perform related duties and projects, as the role requires
Qualifications of the Defense Contracts Administrator
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in government or government contractor manufacturing OR related experience as a paralegal
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Ability to negotiate
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
