You’ll work as part of the fundraising team, managing data operations, conducting reporting and analysis, and supporting relationship management. Responsibilities of the Development Coordinator

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of development database, including data input and output, technology management, end-user training, and support
  • Update constituent records in the database
  • Process donations, ensuring compliance with IRS rules, organizational/audit standards
  • Generate pledge reminders and preserve gift and pledge audit trail
  • Create and refine mailing lists, and oversee mailings process
  • Provide support to donors including handling fundraising requests, answering questions, facilitating acknowledgement letters/receipts, etc.
  • Analyze fundraising data and produce regular reports
  • Proactively identify gift prospects through research and analysis and provide prospect reports to Relationship Managers
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Development Coordinator

  • High level of confidentiality
  • Logical, analytical, and strategic approach to data management and research
  • Ability to conduct analysis, produce analytical reports, create project plans, and set and meet deadlines
  • Strong computer skills and database experience (preferably Raiser’s Edge), including producing reports from a database
  • Strong orientation to customer service and relationship management
  • Ability to work effectively with high-level stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Ability to be adaptable, organized, and strategic while multitasking

The Development Coordinator is a hybrid position with most days remote and several days per month onsite as required. Hours are first shift, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility on start time. The company might even consider a part-time schedule for someone with great qualifications. Pay depends on experience, ranging from $20-$24/hour.
