Electrical Tester

One of the premier employers in the Seacoast area is looking for an Electrical Tester to join their second shift team. Responsibilities of the Electrical Tester

• Conduct procedural tests on products and incoming material
• Maintain security for all quality verification equipment and its calibration control
• Notify errors on procedures, drawings, bills of material, and router to the support teams (Quality, Manufacturing Engineering)
• Complete documentation and enter data into ERP system
• Identify and communicate special tooling needed to perform operation
• Maintain high quality standards and workmanship
• Collaborate effectively with all departments within the company
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Electrical Tester

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
• 2-year technician degree or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Experience/training with basic electricity
• Experience handling fiber optic related product
• Ability to use test equipment needed to perform tasks (Meggers, Ohm-meters)
• Ability to use optical test equipment
• Basic math and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Team player
• Willing to work overtime when needed
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
