Electronics Assembly Technician

Our client, a local company with a friendly and growth oriented culture is currently seeking a self-motivated and dependable individual to join their growing team!

  • Full-time, first shift!
  • Monday – Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm.
  • Pay depends on experience.

Daily Activities of an Electronics Assembly Technician:

  • Assemble electronics and printed circuit boards (PCBA) in a prototype and production environment.
  • Assemble wire harnesses and hybrid mechanical and electronic assemblies.
  • Conduct failure analysis and troubleshooting activities of in-process failures and field returns with engineering direction.

Successful Candidates for the Electronics Assembly Technician Role will: 

  • Have 5 to 25 years of industry experience in an electronics manufacturing environment doing hands on assembly of precision electronics.
  • Be highly competent and efficient at soldering fine pitch surface mount (SMT) components, IPC certified for soldering, rework, inspection, wire to wire, and wire to board. Experience in component troubleshooting, component replacements, PCB trace cuts, and jumper installation.
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Adapt to the changing needs of small company.
  • Display an aptitude for building simple jigs and fixtures to support production and testing of electronic sensors.
