Electronics Engineering Technician  

A leading manufacturer of power supplies and converters is looking for an Electronics Engineering Technician in Exeter, NH. In this role, you will fabricate, test, troubleshoot, and repair analog and digital circuits. If you want to work in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, this could be a great fit for you!

Responsibilities of the Electronics Engineering Technician

  • Prototype and possibly fabricate fixtures, tools, tooling, and equipment for the manufacture of products
  • Test product models for operational stability, reliability, and conformity to design
  • Follow customer and/or engineering product specifications, visual aids, inspection instructions, and checklists
  • Perform visual inspection of printed circuit board assemblies and subassemblies to ANSI/IPC 610 B soldering workmanship standards
  • Re-inspect reworked units
  • Use oscilloscopes, voltage meters, electronic loads, bench tip poser supplies, variacs, test fixtures, environmental ovens, and other electronic associated equipment to perform work
  • Make effective and efficient use of all resources including inventory materials, supplies and tools, and tooling equipment
  • Maintain necessary records, files, and reports
  • Ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Consult supervisor when unusual conditions exist or safety issues arise
  • Record and report defects, identify non-reworkable issues to the supervisor, and route non-conforming material to the Material Review Board (MRB)
  • Apply Electro Static Discharge (ESD) precautions when handling products
  • Follow established company rules and regulations and good housekeeping practices

Qualifications of the Electronics Engineering Technician

  • 2-year degree in Electronics
  • Proven ability to accurately read and interpret electronic schematics and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must have ability to make logical sequential steps in performance of work
  • Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision and direction
