A growing, international manufacturer is looking for an Engineering Lead at their Newport, NH facility. You’ll provide hands-on supervisory oversight of the company’s energetic Engineering team. Responsibilities of the Engineering Lead
- Supervise and manage performance of Engineering personnel
- Manage schedule for Engineering projects
- Generate and maintain project definitions and plans
- Aid in the design and fabrication of new and custom products and systems
- Develop and maintain engineering drawings and design documents, BOMs, and work instructions
- Ensure compliance with project goals, deadlines, costs, and quality
- Work collaboratively to plan qualification and validation tests
- Prepare for ASME and UL/CSA certifications
- Provide technical support to both internal and external customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Engineering Lead
- 2+ years of Industrial Engineering experience
- Associate’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology required, BSME or BSEE preferred
- Knowledge of machine tool safety and operations
- Ability to communicate technical/product information to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Strong sense of customer service
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- General knowledge of GD&T, Lean/Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and DOE preferred
