Fabrication Mechanic
Our growing Laconia, NH client is seeking a Fabrication Mechanic for their team. If you’re technically inclined, then consider this full-time, first-shift role! 
Responsibilities of the Fabrication Mechanic

• Fabricate rigid and flexible metal tubing
• Set up and operate various equipment (e.g., abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing equipment)
• Perform visual and dimensional tests to validate conformance to specifications
• Set up and maintain fixtures and select tooling
• Plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and salvage parts from assemblies, and repair assemblies, fixtures, equipment, and products
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications of the Fabrication Mechanic

• High school diploma or GED, 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong math and computer skills
• Knowledge of GD&T
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use micrometers and vernier calipers
• Ability to measure angular dimensions, radii, contours, clearances, thread lead, wall thickness, and other specifications
• Team player who can work well independently
