Fabrication Mechanic (Marking)
Our growing Laconia, NH client is seeking a Fabrication Mechanic for their team. If you’re technically inclined, then consider this full-time, first-shift opportunity!
Responsibilities of the Fabrication Mechanic (Marking)

• Follow engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers to determine marking requirements
• Use the appropriate marking method (Electro-Etch, Laser, Vibro-Peen, Dot-Peen, Ink) to clearly and correctly identify materials, test pieces, and other assemblies
• Scan or manually enter identification requirements in computer
• Manually transfer ink marking onto part surfaces
• Apply tags, assemble shrink sleeve over marking, and set in place
• Identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain documentation
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications of the Fabrication Mechanic (Marking)

• High school diploma or GED, 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong math and computer skills
• Knowledge of GD&T
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use micrometers and vernier calipers
• Ability to problem solve and adapt to changing priorities
• Team player who can work well independently
