She returned to our team during the summer of 2020, and when she returned to school, worked remotely during her final semester. She officially joined Leddy Group’s Industrial & Skilled Manufacturing division as a Team Support Specialist after earning her bachelor’s degree from Franklin Pierce.

A busy office is looking for a skilled professional for their short-term Faculty Affairs Coordinator role. You’ll provide programmatic and administrative support to faculty members, so in-depth knowledge of office procedures and strong attention to detail are required. This position works on a hybrid basis, with 2-3 days in their Hanover, NH location per week.

Responsibilities of the Faculty Affairs Coordinator

  • Plan and support professional development opportunities for faculty and non-faculty members
  • Work collaboratively with internal training teams, outside experts, and guest speakers to plan content and schedule events
  • Track and monitor annual faculty evaluations
  • Support and coordinate scheduled academic review processes
  • Ensure compliance with established faculty affairs processes for recruitment, appointment, promotion, and termination
  • Assist faculty with CV preparation and serve as point of contact for faculty affairs questions
  • Schedule meetings, develop surveys, manage department calendar, maintain faculty development webpage, and handle expense reimbursement
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Faculty Affairs Coordinator

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in education and experience
  • Three plus years of office experience, preferably in an academic setting
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite and Outlook
  • Experience working in tracking systems and/or databases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of discretion and confidentiality
  • Commitment to diversity

  • Thoughtful, professional demeanor
