Fiber Line Associate

A Seacoast based company is now seeking to hire a Fiber Line Associate to join their growing business. This position is responsible for moving tow cans, setting up creels and assisting the take-up operators. The goal is to learn all aspects of the operator position.

Responsibilities of Fiber Line Associate:

  • Move tow cans on and off tow canner
  • Change out creels on drawline when completed
  • Assist take up operator in lacing up and running line
  • During beam, changes help pull and replace beam
  • Responsible for keeping finish tank full/and making proper mixes
  • Responsible for making sure housekeeping is kept up in the area.  Sweep, wash floors, trash, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications for the position:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to carry items up and down the stairs

The working schedule is every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 7:00 am-7:05 pm.
