First Shift Shipper

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented individual with at least one year of experience for their First Shift Shipper position. You’ll be in charge of receiving, distributing, and storing incoming goods and packing/shipping outgoing materials at the company’s Woburn, MA facility.

Responsibilities of the First Shift Shipper

• Oversee the timely and accurate shipping and receipt of all incoming and outgoing mail, material, and/or products
• Follow all regulations, disclosure, reporting, and labeling requirements concerning product content and shipping
• Receive and inspect all incoming materials
• Package, label, route, and ship orders
• Manage third party delivery services vendors
• Maintain stockroom inventory
• Handle ERP system logistics and inventory entries/transactions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the First Shift Shipper

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a shipping and receiving role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to prioritize tasks, be flexible, and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, DEA, USP, and other applicable regulations
• Proficiency with UPS and FedEx shipping systems
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• DOT HAZMAT Certification preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. Pay depends on experience, ranging from $19.57-$23.75/hour for less experienced candidates, and up to $30.10/hour for those with 3+ years of experience. Apply today for this First Shift Shipper role!
