Health and Safety Consultant

Put your knowledge to use in a family-owned consulting organization as a full-time Health and Safety Consultant! In this role, your job will be to develop relationships with new and existing customers and perform on-site consultations that help those customers keep their employees healthy and safe. Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Consultant

  • Establish, maintain, and exploit relationships with customers
  • Regularly communicate with customers to keep a pulse on their needs
  • Generate opportunities and design project scopes and proposals based on those communications
  • Provide on-site OSHA compliance/health and safety training
  • Survey industrial hygiene and indoor air quality, as well as asbestos management
  • Interpret analytical results, with the assistance of more Senior staff, if required, to be able to accurately report those results verbally and in writing to the client.
  • Prepare written reports in a manner that the client or other intended audience understands
  • Manage your own schedule around projects in an efficient manner

Qualifications of the Health and Safety Consultant

  • 3+ years of experience in the Health and Safety field
  • Ability to self-manage, identify problems, and define solutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Capable of occasional overnight travel
