Responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant will include:

  • Assist in setting interviews, posting jobs and other similar functions
  • Performs data entry, filing, report preparation and administrative duties as assigned
  • Assist HR department with all day-to-day functions
  • Performs shredding, faxing and scanning for the department
  • Utilize Excel to track and document department records
  • Network to develop internal/external partnerships

Requirements of the Human Resources Assistant:

  • Must have Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in office setting
  • Must have intense sense of urgency and professionalism
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance memos and manuals
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and timeliness is a must
