Hydraulic Component Repair Technician

A well-established company is now hiring a Hydraulic Component Repair Technician in Merrimack, NH. This full-time, first-shift role would be perfect for auto techs who are looking for a change of pace!

Responsibilities of the Hydraulic Component Repair Technician

• Repair hydraulic pumps, motors, and valves
• May repair hydraulic breakers (hammers)
• Disassemble and evaluate components for repair
• Assemble components and test as required
• Prepare detailed write-ups and failure analysis when needed
• Work as part of a team to offer high quality, expedient customer service
• Support inside and outside sales staff and management by providing fact-based observations, recommendations, and advice
• Perform additional related duties as assigned or required

Qualifications of the Hydraulic Component Repair Technician

• 3+ years of experience in related hydraulic component repair is highly preferred
• Experience with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Ability to read and understand parts sheets, service instructions, etc.
• High mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable team player who can work well independently
• Strong communication skills
• Must have own basic tools

Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00am-4:00pm. Pay is $20/hour, with flexibility for the right candidate.
