Leddy Group is recruiting for an Industrial Controls Engineer for a client in the Seacoast of New Hampshire on a direct-hire basis.

Requirements for Industrial Controls Engineer:

  • In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering theory and methods
  • In-depth knowledge of current electrical control technologies which include at least some of the following:

-programmable logic controllers (Siemens S7, TIA Portal preferred)

-AC and DC motors/motor controllers (Siemens Simotion/Sinamics & MC AC, Servo)

-user interfaces (Siemens WinCC preferred)

-Ladder & Statement List Programming

-PLC networks (Profibus, Profinet)

-industrial networks (Ethernet, TCP/IP)

-distributed CPU & I/O systems

-power distribution systems (transformers, fusing, breakers, conductor sizing)

-electrical codes (UL, NFPA, ANSI, NEC, CE, IEC)

-computer architectures (VME, ISA, EISA)

-operating systems (Windows NT or XPE)

  • Ability to understand electrical wiring schematics, sub-assembly drawings, and bills of material for control system design.
  • Excellent customer communication and interpersonal skills
  • Travel as required to perform job functions



Experience for the Industrial Controls Engineer position:

  • 2-5 Years
  • Knowledge of presses and press automation is a big plus
