Here is a snapshot of the Industrial Maintenance Technician role: 

  • Perform technical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. 
  • Perform basic machinist and metal fabrication duties and responsibilities. 
  • Perform a variety of basic plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. 
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs. 
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance as well as develop preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. 
  • Install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment. 
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and maintenance task sheets. 
  • Detect faulty operations and defective material. 

Here’s what it takes to apply to the Industrial Maintenance Technician: 

  • High School diploma/GED. 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Mechanical, electrical, electronic skills. 
  • Machining and metal fabrication skills desirable. 
  • Building systems experience, carpentry, plumbing skills desirable. 
  • Ability to diagnose and make complex repairs on equipment. 
  • Good interpersonal skills – must be comfortable working in a team environment consisting of DPC employees and outside contractors.
  • Some heavy lifting and considerable moving of equipment required, up to 100lbs. 
  • Overtime & emergency call availability!
