Industrial Maintenance Technician

A well-established printing company is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support their Hanover, NH facility. You’ll perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant equipment in this full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities of the Industrial Maintenance Technician

  • Service equipment for emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and complete scheduled maintenance repairs during machine downtime
  • Perform technical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and preventive maintenance task sheets to perform required maintenance and service
  • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments
  • Develop preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
  • Perform simple machinist/metal fabrication, plumbing, and carpentry tasks as needed
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
  • Detect and report faulty operations and defective material
  • Comply with all safety and environmental regulations, and maintain a clean and safe work area
  •  Perform other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications of the Industrial Maintenance Technician

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical courses preferred
  • 4+ years’ experience in a similar position required; previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Mechanical, electrical, and electronic skills
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to diagnose and make complex repairs on equipment
  • General knowledge of all building trades
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be highly motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Ability to work mandatory overtime or be on emergency call as needed
  • Building systems experience, carpentry, and/or plumbing skills desirable
  • A strong background in electronic controls strongly preferred
  • Machining and metal fabrication skills desirable; welding, cutting, brazing, metal, sheet metal, and wood fabrication skills strongly preferred

The current available shifts are 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift (Monday evening- Saturday morning, 11pm-7am). Pay is DOE.
