Interim Manual Machinist 

Leading global technology innovator for Space, Air, Land, and Maritime are seeking an  Manual Machinist to join their team in an interim multi-month role. Qualified candidates will have a significant amount of experience and require little to no training.

Responsibilities for the Manual Machinist: 

  • Plan, layout, set-up, operate and make tool adjustments to cut and shape all types of metals using manual (e.g., lathes, millers and grinders), numerically controlled and computerized machine shop equipment.
  • Work from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks.
  • Machining aluminum and brass parts.
  • Qualifying and machining brazed assemblies and castings using Manual Milling Machines with Proto Trak and Mill Power controls.
  • Should be able to machine assemblies and piece parts to .001 tolerance.

Qualifications for the Manual Machinist: 

  • High School diploma (or equivalent)
  • Should be familiar with geometric tolerances
  • Background in trigonometry
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Must be able to prove US Citizenship
  • Prior experience in microwave field preferred
  • Knowledge of machining waveguides preferred

This is a one month assignment, hours 6:00 am – 3:30 pm schedule, with every other Friday off. Pay is $30 – $36 per hour DOE. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door with a global technology leader.
