Interim-to-direct Accounting Specialist

Our Portsmouth, NH client has an interim-to-direct, full-time opportunity as an Accounting Specialist! In this role, you will process AP/AR, maintain records, and perform other general accounting duties. You must be a quick learner and detail oriented!

Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist

  • Manage all accounts payable/accounts receivable transactions
  • Process and record incoming payments
  • Perform data entry and maintain accounting-related databases
  • Assist with closing activities
  • Prepare reports, as requested
  • Other related tasks, as assigned

Qualifications of the Accounting Specialist

  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
  • QuickBooks or Great Plains experience a plus!
