Then consider joining Work Opportunities Unlimited as our IT Support Specialist! This position is 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

As our IT Support Specialist, your day might involve the following:

  • Configuring new workstations and installing software
  • Providing help desk & remote support to internal employees
  • Traveling to local offices to resolve issues
  • Adding/removing/modifying email accounts
  • Supporting network needs including routers and printers
  • Troubleshooting and resolving email issues
  • Assisting the IT Team on major projects and internal initiatives
  • Working with outside vendors regarding office continuity and security
  • Maintaining an asset inventory list

Qualities of our ideal candidate:

  • Detail Oriented – You’ll need to understand the big picture, but also be keenly aware of the details.
  • Technical Chops – Skilled in Office 365, server and machine maintenance, updates, troubleshooting, and monitoring as well as basic programming and HTML.
  • Organized – You are going to be tracking dozens of ongoing projects to ensure timely delivery. You need to have both the willingness and ability to keep everything organized.
  • Excellent Communication Skills – You’ll be working with many people every day. Communication of details and status is critical to the success of this role.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Computer Science, MIS or similar field or are pursuing one.
  • Position will be located in Dover, NH with travel being on an as-needed basis.
