Lead Manufacturing Mechanic

Machine shop in Rochester/Gonic, NH dedicated to precision engineering is seeking a Lead Mechanic to join their team. This company is over 60 years old, and services and supplies many different industries with components including ammunition, fiber optics, arrowheads, automotive, connectors, and medical devices. The Lead Manufacturing Mechanic is vital to the success of the team!

Responsibilities of the Lead Manufacturing Mechanic: 

  • Responsible for ensuring machine operation activities are accurate, understood and implemented efficiently
  • Train others in the proper use of Quality checks, the right forms and work prints to assure good parts
  • Produce measurable results favorably impacting the company’s profitability and image
  • Work in multi-level deadlines
  • Teach others how to do maintenance on machinery

Qualifications of the Lead Manufacturing Mechanic: 

  • Must have mechanical experience
  • Ability to fabricate machine parts if needed
  • Must demonstrate the necessary skill and efficiency in repair, inspection of parts and respect for machinery

Great Schedule! Day shift is Monday – Thursday 6:00am-4pm with overtime required occasionally. Night shift is Monday-Thursday 7pm-6am with overtime required occasionally. Rate of pay is $22-$26 DOE.
